| Here at Dream Walker Ranch we make sure our Tennessee Walking Horses are exposed to all the things you would want your horse to be able to handle. They have been down country roads, rode through the mountains, exposed to deer, turkeys, goats and dogs, rode around cars, tractors, ATV's, motorcycles, etc. They are exposed to as many different obstacles as possible to develop the best horses around. Our trail rides start in Tennessee with emphasis on confidence. Our Walking Horses are taken through the forests and mountains, country roads, creeks, exposed to farm animals, and whatever the countryside offers. We then take them through the suburbs and deserts here in Las Vegas. We expose our Tennessee Walking Horses to the many distractions found in Las Vegas (Ex. Wide open terrain, sidewalks, schools getting out, dogs, bikes, traffic, motorcycles, high winds, plastic bags, flags...) Unlike many others out there selling Tennessee Walking Horses we trailer our horses out to challenging areas. We ride our horses in the deserts and in the mountains. Some other websites advertise that they have "trail horses" but they only ride the same trails. We challenge our horses so that when you take them home you know you can take them anywhere. Our horses are exposed to as many experiences on the trail as possible to develop a calm trustworthy trail mount. You get the best of both worlds with our trail horses. Our Tennessee Walking Horses for sale and Spotted Saddle Horses for sale are "Town and Country experienced." Matt and I are not professional horse traders or trainers. Riding these wonderful horses is our pleasure and how we choose to enjoy our life. When you call or visit with us you will talk directly with Jenn or Matt. The horses we represent on our site are of those we would personally keep. I would love to keep them all! Our Tennessee Walking Horses are well trained, trail experienced, have champion pedigree and are 100% sound. Buying a horse should not be a scary thing, but unfortunately there are too many less than honest people out there trying to get rid of their problems. We only keep horses here that we are proud to show and trust with our loved ones. We strive to provide the best possible match for horse and rider! We search out only the best trail horses and turn down 50 for every one horse we decide to call our own. Our Tennessee Walking Horses and Spotted Saddle Horses are not from sales, brokers, auctions and are not trade ins'. Our horses are carefully selected and purchased from individual owners that we know. After I broke my back 15 years ago on a green broke horse, I will not get on any horse unless it truly is well trained, experienced, calm and broke. Life is too short to ride a problem horse. Our Tennessee Walking Horses have to be good enough to be our own personal horse. Come ride them and see for yourself. Barbie will greet you in the stall, stand patiently while you wash, bathe, clip, tack up and play around her. She will let you play around on her back and ride her bareback. She is an extremely smart and reliable trail mount. She doesn't seem to be bothered by anything on the trail and does not have a mean bone in her body. Barbie will stand to mount/dismount , walk on a loose rein, listens to leg and verbal cues, she goes out alone or with a group, hops on and off the trailer and gets along great with other horses. | Creek's Gypsy Rose aka 'Zookie' has been my personal trail horse for several years now. He is a gorgeous tri-color tobiano gelding that is super smooth to ride and stellar in difficult terrain. 'Zookie' as I affectionately call him, is a super horse! He loves to go out on the trails and has been everywhere in NV with me over several years. We have ridden out alone in the moonlight, out on 50+ member rider group trail rides, alone down busy streets, up in the mountains and out in the deserts, out in the dark in 40 plus mph winds, past bust school zones... He is eager to please, smooth to ride and as sure footed as a Grand Canyon mule. 'Zookie' is a wonderful horse in every way. He gaits super smooth at various speeds, has a great lope, will walk on a loose rein and gait on a loose rein, he necks reins, moves off of leg pressure, rides great bareback, crosses water and anything else you ask him to. Point him and he will go. He is very intelligent and gives you 110% effort in anything you ask him to do. He skillfully climbs difficult terrain and will carefully maneuver his way down hill. He is easy to catch, lead, tack up, watch his videos to see. We used to ride 2 to 4 times weekly in the mountains together and usually at 6'k altitude. He has always been in top shape. Unfortunately due to a change in our life, I can no longer ride him as often which is usually once per week. He never rides out 'hot', he is always as peaceful as the videos show; every time. He is simply the only horse I have chosen above the others (several hundred) to be my own in many years. I made several videos to illustrate everything you could possibly want to see him do. It is with a heavy heart that I am putting him up for sale. He is as perfect of a horse as I have known. He is always the same horse, a true gentleman. He deserves a home where he can go out and explore the trails more often (he is not a hot horse). He is a kind, loyal and loving horse that will make some lucky person as happy as he has made me. Serious inquiries call me and I will tell you everything I know about this special horse that I love dearly. Note: Now this is Matt, Jenn's husband, "Jenn chose Zookie for specific reasons. He had every desirable quality, with unmatched sure footedness and smooth transitions between gaits at all speeds. A prior horse she had been loping on, (in front of me) sustained a substantial fall at high speed. Like most of us, it set her confidence back, not only in herself but in horses as well (Zookie fixed this). Specifically, she sought a horse that was gifted in trail capabilities and performs at his pinnacle capabilities in difficult terrain. I owe Zookie a great deal, as he truthfully and simply stated, "gave my wife wings" in trusting horses and herself again (in regards to loping an galloping). She has a gentle and peaceful horse during calm Sunday morning rides and a horse which often passes me in athletic ability on the trails; Zookie fulfills both of these categories simultaneously. | Charlie is a super gentle buckskin gelding with all black points! He has a beautiful face, a gorgeous buckskin coat that shimmers in the sunlight, a long black mane and thick black tail. He has a great build, excellent confirmation and a been there done that nothing bothers me attitude. He is very striking to look at and flashy when he moves. He will walk all day if you would like too. Charlie is that flashy beauty that you, your friends, family and spouses can enjoy.
